Is PADI or SSI better for getting a job?

For most working instructors, PADI offers the widest employability — the majority of dive-shop vacancies request PADI ratings and the brand is recognised almost everywhere. SSI is well respected too, particularly at SSI-aligned centres, so the best choice depends on where you want to work.

Can I cross from SSI to PADI?

Is PADI more expensive than SSI?

Costs are broadly comparable and vary by centre and region. PADI sets fixed certification fees; SSI’s digital-first model can shift some costs around. Across a full instructor course the difference is usually small relative to your overall investment.
