The July IDC at Thresher Shark Divers is well and truly underway now, and the candidates performed very well again today. The morning started in the IDC classroom with me taking a backseat and the candidates each taking a turn at being the ‘instructor’. We learnt all about the new Divemaster course, Project AWARE and also how to use the RDP. Some very good scores were achieved in the process too…
In the afternoon, we transferred to confined water and everybody again played instructor and taught a skill from the Open Water Diver course. All the candidates are getting to grips with the structure of the presentations, and some more high scores were registered… Rescues were also practised again…
Tomorrow, we once again start in the classroom with some more theory exams, before venturing a little farther afield on the boat to Lighthouse Wreck for Open Water Presentations in the afternoon…
