Yesterday afternoon PADI IDC Staff Instructor Angus and I took Sarah on her IDC ‘DSD Workshop’. Fiona, Lou and Paul also took part to complete their ‘DSD In Open Water Workshop’ towards their Divemaster certification.
We had great fun cruising around at Lighthouse Wreck in the relative shallows. Of course, the odd ‘problem’ did occur, but the guys did an excellent job of handling these, and of demonstrating very good control of their ‘students’…
The fun began with the all important briefings in Oscar’s Restaurant above the Thresher Shark Divers shop…
Sarah had the pleasure of teaching Angus the skills on the descent line before we continued to depth, where everybody took a turn at controlling their ‘students’ during an underwater tour of the wreck….
At the end of the DSD ‘fun’, we also did a ‘C.E.S.A. Workshop’ with Sarah…
All in all, an excellent afternoon was had by everybody…
